You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely data exchange between external systems and VBA solutions.As a Data Integration Analyst II, you will work directly with healthcare clients, vendors, and EDI Developers to gather requirements, interpret X12 transactions, validate integration files, troubleshoot data issues, and support successful implementation delivery. This role requires someone who is comfortable navigating both technical and client-facing conversations while managing multiple integrations in a fast-paced environment.This is not a traditional data analytics, reporting, or software development role. Success in this position requires hands-on healthcare EDI integration experience, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand how data moves between payer, vendor, and client systems.The ideal candidate has experience supporting healthcare payer, TPA, or benefits administration integrations and understands the operational impact accurate data exchange has on claims processing, eligibility, authorizations, enrollment, and member experience.Client ImpactThe work completed by the Data Integration Analyst II directly impacts how healthcare data moves between clients, vendors, providers, and VBA solutions. Your responses will be kept confidential and used solely to support fair and consistent hiring decisions.What are we looking for in this position?5+ years of experience supporting healthcare EDI integrations, healthcare implementations, or healthcare systems analysisRequired hands-on experience working with 834 eligibility and enrollment filesExperience interpreting, mapping, validating, and troubleshooting X12 files including 834, 837P, 837I, 837D, 835, and 278 transactionsExperience supporting eligibility, enrollment, claims, authorization, accumulator, or payment integrationsExperience working with healthcare payers, TPAs, health plans, or healthcare administration platformsExperience working with EDI, SFTP, API, or other healthcare data exchange methodsExperience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements for healthcare integrations and implementation workflowsExperience supporting implementation testing, file validation, quality assurance, and production issue resolutionAbility to identify and troubleshoot mapping issues, data discrepancies, and integration errors across multiple systemsStrong understanding of healthcare data workflows and how information moves between payer, vendor, and client systemsAbility to communicate technical integration concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple implementation and integration priorities simultaneouslyExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Microsoft SQL Server or data querying for validation and troubleshooting purposes preferredAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teamsWhat will you be doing?Act as the primary liaison between healthcare clients, vendors, trading partners, internal implementation teams, and EDI Developers throughout integration projectsLead requirements gathering sessions with clients and vendors to review file layouts, business rules, integration workflows, and implementation requirementsInterpret, map, validate, and troubleshoot X12 transactions including 834, 837P, 837I, 837D, 835, and 278 filesSupport integrations related to eligibility, claims, enrollment, authorizations, accumulators, ID cards, and payment workflowsReview inbound and outbound integration files to identify formatting issues, mapping gaps, inconsistencies, and data quality concernsCreate and maintain interface mapping documentation and functional specifications for internal EDI Developers and technical teamsCoordinate integration testing efforts, validate file accuracy, and support quality assurance activities during implementation and production supportTroubleshoot integration and file transmission issues and work directly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to drive resolutionTranslate technical integration requirements and data issues into clear communication for non-technical stakeholdersSupport multiple concurrent client implementations and integration timelines in a fast-paced environmentProvide ongoing production and operational support for existing client integrations as neededCollaborate closely with implementation, development, configuration, and support teams to ensure successful integration delivery and client outcomesMaintain professional, responsive communication across all client, vendor, and internal interactionsAll other duties as assignedTravel Requirements: 0%Location: RemoteWhat can VBA offer you?
