This position ensures residents are treated with dignity and respect while encouraging independence and maintaining a safe, supportive living environment.No license is required for this position. We provide training for compassionate individuals who pass the state-required background screening.QualificationsNo license required; training providedCompassionate, dependable, and resident-focusedAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to perform essential job functions physically and mentallyAbility to pass state-mandated criminal background screeningEssential FunctionsAssist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, dressing, eating, and socializationSupport residents in participating in life enrichment activities and eventsFollow resident service plans for level of assistance and support neededObserve and report changes in resident condition or needsPerform light housekeeping duties, including bed making, linen changes, laundry, dusting, and trash removalUse safe and proper techniques for cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipmentPractice safe and sanitary hygiene at all timesPerform other duties as assigned to support living center operationsInfection Control and SafetyBecause we care for a vulnerable population, infection control is a top priority.
