Landscape Maintenance Technician

If you enjoy working outdoors in a positive, team-oriented environment, this role may be a great fit for you.GENERAL JOB DUTIES:Mow lawns, trim, and edge around hardscapes and softscapesPlant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushesTrim shrubs, pull weeds, and perform general pruningApply fertilizer to turf and plantsBlow walkways and job sites free of debrisPerform minor irrigation system repairsPerform other duties as assigned by managementREQUIREMENTS:Strong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to follow directions and work independently or as part of a teamOne year of landscaping experienceValid driver's license requiredStrong customer service mindsetGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 poundsWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to take initiative and maintain a strong work ethicCandidates must pass a drug screen and background check upon job offer and meet all other pre-employment requirements.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous landscape maintenance or installation experience, including irrigation systemsExperience operating landscaping equipment (mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, weed eaters, etc.)Bilingual in English and SpanishOTHER DETAILS:Full-time: 30-40 hours per week (depending on experience)Schedule: Monday-FridayPay Rate: $17.00 per hourWork Location: In personEducation: High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience: Landscape maintenance - 1 year (required)License/Certification: Valid driver's license required
