Skills and Experience:
The Sales and Marketing Specialist is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to drive company growth. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, researching market trends, developing strategic sales initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold outreach, partnerships, and referrals.
· Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
· Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and present bid submissions tailored to client needs.
· Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive activity, and potential target markets.
· Support and optimize marketing campaigns (email, social media, promotions).
· Maintain detailed records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity
· Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
· Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.
· Support contract negotiations and ensure smooth handoff to operations or account management teams.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not always required).
· 1+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or related role
· Prior experience in wholesale distribution, retail supply, or logistics.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
Working Conditions:
Use of Personal Protection Equipment may be required.
Office Hours – Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
Overtime may be required
Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
