Locksmith / Access Control Technician
Job Summary
The Access Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting access control systems to ensure the security and safety of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and troubleshoot access control systems including CCTV, security systems, and alarm systems
- Perform regular maintenance checks on access control equipment
- Detect and resolve issues with electrical components related to access control systems
- Conduct cabling and wiring for new installations or repairs
- Utilize voltmeters to test electrical circuits and components
- Provide technical support for computer hardware related to access control systems
Requirements
- Certification in CCTV installation or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using voltmeters and other electrical tools
- Knowledge of security system operations and alarm system sales is a plus
- Familiarity with cabling, computer hardware, and electrical components relevant to access control systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
