Warehouse Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse supervision, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring seamless inventory control, transportation coordination, and overall warehouse productivity to support our business objectives.
Accountable for:
Load Manger and their responsibilities
Warehouse Leads & assistants’ responsibilities
Vinyl Manager and their responsibilities
Meeting commitments of Delivery/Pickup Schedule
Contract Fulfillment- Goal to be proficient in this by the end of March 2025
Dispatch and Routing-Goal to be proficient in this by end of April 2025.
Job Duties: You are the backstop! Loads need to be correct, and you need to account for all rental items!
· Morning Deployment: This is scheduled and shared amongst load manager and operations manager
Making Sure crews get out on routes on time.
Handling staff shortages for the day to make sure crews are still staffed properly
Brief & debrief Crew Managers and crew regarding the jobs of the day to make sure the are as efficient as possible
Truck Checking: Assisting crew managers as needed if we have tight timelines.
The goal is for the crews to leave with 30 minutes of scheduled start time.
Rental Readiness of Product: Making sure that it is where it goes, it is clean and working properly prior to it being loaded
Inventory Maintenance: Knowing what needs to be done or cleaned
Forward thinking and scheduling
Keep things in the correct bins, shelves or racks
Looking at reservation reports to prepare for upcoming needs
Do cycle counts of inventory every month to ensure up to date inventory.
Utilize Contract Fulfillment for inventory coming and going-Ensure all departments are utilizing as well.
Product Staging/Prep:
Monitoring and Enforcing Quality Control
Training warehouse and tent crew staff in this area to ensure efficient workflow.
Make sure we are getting back what we sent out.
Utilize Contract fulfillment for this.
· Warehouse & Property Organization: Make sure that a home is established, it goes back in place, and it is labeled.
Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness:
Monitor, Train and adjust if needed who are doing tasks.
Enforce that guys clean up after themselves.
Keep warehouse clean and in order. This will ensure efficient workflow.
Utilize tent crews to get things done if needed- Go to crew managers to assign task.
Warehouse Improvements:
Monitor the need for these projects.
Prioritize projects
Forward thought and awareness of things that cause inefficiencies or things that are dirty.
· Daily Warehousing:
o Day to day Warehouse duties:
Get staff started, follow up on tasks and improve efficiencies
Chair washing, Tent Washing, new product check-in, item prep in and out.
Explain the process to warehouse staff-Why, how, and when to do it.
Work alongside and demonstrate until they understand the process.
Will Call:
Make sure we know what is needed, that it is prepped and that we get all the items back.
Monitor and train staff as needed to handle will call and customer interaction.
New Product Check in or Damage Product Check Out:
Confirming packing slip is what we are receiving
Check for damage and follow protocol if damaged- Notify operations manager of damage.
Find temporary place to store and then final location
If rental items are damaged, we must use a repair ticket in POR until they are repaired, and we do not over book.
If items are damaged beyond repair, make sure they are removed from inventory.
Make sure the warehouse staff is developed properly:
They should be able to operate efficiently and effectively when you are gone. Your warehouse staff is your solution.
Make sure duties are outlined clearly and checklist of task to be completed are detailed.
Conduct weekly meetings with Load Manager and Vinyl Manager to make sure we are completing task efficiently. Make sure they know of important items that need to be addressed.
· Vinyl Department:
Coordinate to ensure that fabric is clean and prepped week before install/load date.
Develop list of what is washed daily.
Make sure are fabric is labeled correctly.
Manage supplies and chemical list need. This list should be provided by vinyl manager.
Develop a list of what needs to be repaired and make sure that it gets repaired.
Dispatch/Logistics:
Goal is to have routes completed by Wednesday of the week prior.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand and be physically active for hours at a time
Outdoors in all weather conditions, indoors for some installations
Some Night/Weekend work required
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is preferred but NOT a requirement.
Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs over significant distances.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record preferred, but not necessary.
Some Night/Weekend Required.

Preferred Experience:
Construction or other outdoor field Crew leader/foreman experience.
Three months tent installation experience is a plus.
Bi-lingual/Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
