Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head is hiring a Dishwasher to join our team!PurposeThe Latitude Dishwasher is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with the overall dining program and execution of all aspects of the culinary experience for the property from daily operation of the restaurant, to catering and special events. The Dishwasher will be responsible for providing an exceptionally clean facility/operation for all residents and team members to enjoy and take pride in. Maintaining and cleaning all area of the operations as required or assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef on a Daily basis. The Dishwasher is expected to adhere to FSR standards and practices and authentically deliver the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle.Key Responsibilities And AccountabilitiesOperate the industrial dishwasherWash glassware and other implements by hand when necessaryEmpty and clean all trash receptaclesRotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resourcesClean dish storageFollow sanitation policies at all timesProvide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak timesPerform opening, closing and side work assignedClean up spills or broken glassware immediatelyReport any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate partyEducationTechnical competencies:High school graduate or GED preferredExperienceExcellent oral communication skills requiredPositive interpersonal skills required1-2 years prior experience in a similar positionSkills, Knowledge, And AbilitiesFriendly demeanorAbility to stand for a long time and move quicklyCommunication skills (listening, verbal and written)Must be able to bend, stoop and reach, twist.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Use Labeling and storage of chemicalsOrganizational skillsAttention to detailProblem solving skillsCommon SenseTeam player but can work independentlyHave fun!!!
