Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Westwood, NJ Agency: job.com LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (Recovery Room) – Contract Location: Westwood, NJ Unit: PACU / Recovery Room Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 05/04/2026 Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Hours: 36 hours/week Pay Rate: $2100/week Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced recovery unit supporting post-operative patients across multiple surgical specialties. This role involves monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and ensuring safe, high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in Phase I PACU Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and airway status Administer medications and manage pain control Assist with extubation and respiratory support as needed Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols Requirements Active RN License (NJ or Compact) Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (required) Experience with Epic EMR Strong skills in airway management and post-op care Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a variety of surgical cases (ortho, general, neuro, robotics) Prior travel experience (not required) Additional Requirements: On-call required No local candidates within 50 miles Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment First-time travelers accepted Apply Now!
