Job Full DescriptionCNC Lathe OperatorLocation: Mills River Area Pay: $20 - $23 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMA manufacturing company in the Mills River area is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and production standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specificationsPerform machine setups including tooling adjustments, offsets, and program selectionRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsInspect finished parts using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometersTroubleshoot minor machine issues and report concerns to supervisorsWork with the production team to meet daily production goalsMonitor tooling and supplies and report when replacements are neededQualificationsPrevious experience operating CNC machines (lathe experience preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometersStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamSchedule & PayMonday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM $20 - $23 per hour depending on experience Asheville, NC 2448 1979 Hendersonville Road Suite B Asheville, NC 28803
