Position Title: Program Control AnalystLocation: Remote (U.S. – Eastern Time preferred)Assignment Type: Temporary (3-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire)Compensation: $45.00–$55.00 per hourWork Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMBenefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).Job Description:Our client is seeking two experienced Program Control Analysts to support a rapidly growing finance organization within a government contracting environment. These positions will play a key role in financial planning, program controls, budgeting, forecasting, and contract performance analysis while partnering closely with program management and executive leadership.This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth organizations and enjoy building processes, providing strategic financial insight, and supporting complex government-funded programs.Responsibilities include:Support financial planning and analysis activities through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and program performance monitoringDevelop and maintain program budgets, Estimates at Completion (EACs), forecasts, and financial reportsPerform variance analysis and provide explanations for differences between actual and forecasted resultsMonitor contract funding, expenditures, commitments, and overall financial performancePresent financial results and recommendations to business and operational leadershipSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cyclesPartner with Program Managers, Contracts, Accounting, and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reportingPrepare dashboards, executive reports, and ad hoc financial analysesAssist with customer audits, internal audits, and government reporting requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencyProgram Controls Responsibilities:Establish and maintain project cost control structuresMonitor project costs, schedules, and financial performanceSupport Earned Value Management (EVM) activities, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), budget baselines, Estimates to Complete (ETCs), Estimates at Completion (EACs), and cost performance reportingSupport project setup and ongoing contract financial administrationQualifications:Minimum of 6 years of Program Controls, FP&A, or related financial analysis experience (7+ years preferred)Government contracting experience requiredStrong hands-on experience with Deltek CostpointExperience supporting Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and Time & Materials contracts preferredStrong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysisAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience presenting financial information to business leadershipStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a rapidly changing, high-growth environmentAbility to work independently while collaborating across multiple functional teamsMust be authorized to work in the United States.
