Intelligence Analyst - Russian

As a member of the program team, you will be supporting a cyber intelligence mission by providing language, cultural, analytic (including targeting) and operational support services.RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilize targeting tools and databases to collect intelligence for the purpose of analysis and targeting reportsApply network analysis techniques and tools to identify key figures and organizationsScan and accurately process/analyze large amounts of materialAnalyze disparate intelligence and extract meaning or relevanceApply expert knowledge of regional cyber intelligence threats, TIPs, etc.Provide translation services: the translation of written electronic and multimedia material to English from the source language materials to include: social media, business, legal, technical documents, etc.Generate products that include, but are not limited to: translations, targeting reports, briefing material and cables REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraphScore ILR Level 3 or higher in translating from the source language to English (speaking and listening not required) - must be able to provide both written and verbal translation with close attention to the use of technical, intelligence-related, and subject matter terminologyBachelor of Science degree or two additional years related professional experience working on projects of similar scopeMinimal CONUS/OCONUS travel possible on a case-by-case basis5-7 years of all-source analysis experience with national intelligence agencies or DoD providing analytic support to aid in foreign threat assessmentsExperience translating and gisting general and technical material from Russian to EnglishPossess a thorough understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) guidelines and directivesBe proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IC tools and software applications, Computer-Assisted Translation, and Terminology Management DatabasesPrior all-source analysis experience with national IC groups and/or DoD cyber components is requiredRequires experience providing analytic support to aid in foreign threat assessments, the ability to use customer databases, and some familiarity with technical terminologyEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY (EEO) STATEMENT
