You’ll work closely with both office and field teams, helping translate design intent into real-world execution while keeping schedules, documents, and communication tightly managed.This is a great fit for someone who likes problem solving, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants exposure to all phases of the construction process while rapidly growing professionally.Overall responsibilitiesSupport project leadership throughout planning, buyout, construction, and closeoutServe as a central point for information flow between field operations, design teams, and subcontractorsAssist with schedules, budgets, coordination, and paperwork associated with active projectsPreconstructionHelp prepare quantity surveys and scopes of workAssist with pricing exercises, estimate development, and value‐engineering effortsResearch and help vet subcontractors and vendorsConstruction AdministrationMaintain organized control of drawings, specifications, addenda, and related documentsPrepare meeting agendas, attend progress meetings, and distribute action itemsProcess RFIs, submittals, and approvals using project management softwareTrack procurement, long-lead items, and delivery schedulesAssist with permit applications and agency approvalsSupport change management, including logging, tracking, and documentationMaintain various logs such as RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, punch lists, and closeout documentsCoordinate communication among field teams, subcontractors, consultants, utilities, and ownership stakeholdersField SupportWork alongside superintendents to monitor daily site activityPrepare purchase orders and monitor material deliveriesDocument field conditions, design revisions, and potential cost or schedule impactsParticipate in site safety initiativesAssist in developing and closing punch lists and deficiency listsHelp coordinate site visits and inspectionsQualificationsBachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or related discipline2+ years of Chicago construction experience, $20m+ project exposure a plusUnderstanding of construction processes and applicable building codesExperience working with scheduling and document-management toolsProficiency with common office and project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Office, Bluebeam)CompensationSalary range: $75,000 – $100,000, strong performance bonuses, health/dental/vision benefitsWhy this role?Exposure to full project lifecycle on challenging highrise projectsFast paced, team oriented environmentOpportunities for professional development and growth
