We anticipate our IT Engineer's time being split between: * Directly supporting Stellar customers with end-user tickets and incidents * Partnering with other engineers on customer projects, like new office deployments, infrastructure implementations, and cyber security investigations * Maintaining and improving internal and customer documentation ARE YOU QUALIFIED? When it comes to working in IT, we firmly believe that work ethic, aptitude, and passion go light years further than a college education. Certifications only go so far, and while we like to see them, they’re not a requirement. For this position, we're looking for someone who: Has experience working directly with customers whether in person, or on the phone. In other words, you're used to talking to people you may or may not know and take pride in knowing you’re able to lend a helping hand. * Has experience as a member of a technical team and is prepared to mentor and cross train. * Is comfortable using remote access tools to support clients. * Is comfortable leveraging ticket/case management systems to track work and time for clients. * Is comfortable using documentation systems and take pride in creating documentation that peers can follow. * Has experience working with end users, desktops, servers, Office 365, databases, virtual environments, active directory, networking (switching, routing, firewalls), printers, DNS, DHCP, etc. * Experience with vendors like VMware, Veeam, Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks. * Is comfortable owning a ticket or case from start to finish with minimal oversight.
