Position Summary:
The Vice President, Channel & Commercial is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve North America commercial and channel sales growth goals. The VP will lead Ergotron’s distribution, channel and commercial vertical sales teams. This leader will prioritize building deep customer relationships and market expertise to optimize revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success, strong business acumen and proven salesforce go to market experience that leverages multiple channels across industry sectors, customer segments and geographic regions.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops the strategy and leads the execution of commercial team sales plans, channel and key partner programs, incentives, and investments that drive profitable sales growth.
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key leaders at distribution, channel, key partner and major customer accounts.
Proactively build trust of C-level executives and technical teams from partner organizations by casting the vision of successful partnership with Ergotron.
Collaborate closely with marketing, product and other key stakeholders to gain an in-depth knowledge of Ergotron commercial and healthcare customers to provide solutions that meet customer needs.
Accurately forecasts future sales and develops sales plans to adapt to shifting marketplace.
Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales playbook, partner programs, training efforts, costs, and results.
Develops and manages commercial, distribution and channel sales budgets.
Understand and influence financial drivers, pricing, margins, and form plans that optimize revenue and profit.
Understands market-specific landscapes and trends and brings the voice of customer to the organization.
Implement and sustain successful distribution, channel and key customer business review processes.
Clearly define roles, ownership and responsibilities for team leaders and individuals, ensuring accountability of goals and objectives.
Attract, grow and retain top talent necessary to achieve Ergtron’s business objectives.
Supports “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination for Ergotron and Customer/Channel effectiveness.

Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field required.
15+ years of channel-related sales experience and 5+ years of sales team leadership required.
Must have a minimum of $50M revenue responsibility experience with a track record of profitable growth.
Strong existing relationships with top distribution & channel partners, such as TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, CDW, Insight, Connection and large regional Value-Added Resellers (VARs)
Proven track record of successful sales management in a multi-channel technology environment preferred.
Must have a passion for customer satisfaction and success.
Experience with two-step distribution preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create, set, and achieve strategic initiatives and KPIs that specifically align with organizational goals.
Strong business and financial acumen, analytical with sound decision making skills required.
Must possess an open, collaborative working style that thrives in a cross-functional, matrix team environment.
Excellent people management, leadership and coaching skills with suburb demonstrated record of developing and retaining high potential employees required.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including listening and presentation skills.
Must be able to travel regionally up to 75% and have a valid driver’s license and passport.
Live within a commutable driving distance of the Eagan, MN headquarters preferred or willingness to travel to headquarters a substantial amount of time.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Oracle and Salesforce (or other CRM) required.
