Job DescriptionGEA Group manufactures industrial equipment for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. We are focused on supporting our clients as we all work towards more sustainable production in all the industries we support.Responsibilities / TasksSummary: Lead and coordinate workshop activities involving stainless-steel component fabrication. Utilize technical drawings to guide layout, cutting, welding, and finishing processes. Ensure quality, safety, and productivity targets are met.ResponsibilitiesLead and prioritize tasks for workshop team.Attend production meetings and maintain positive work environment.Train and mentor team members.Conduct daily meetings for instruction and communication.Perform in-process inspections to maintain quality.Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.Collaborate with other departments for seamless production.Monitor and optimize team efficiency.Uphold safety practices and regulations.Actively participate in workshop projects.Drive productivity improvements.Maintain positive attitude and safety culture.QualificationsYour Profile / QualificationsDemonstrated leadership skills.Ability to work independently and lead projects.Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).High School diploma or equivalent.Welding certification .Proficient in blueprint reading.Flexible to work across workshop departments.Capable of workshop shutdown/startup procedures.BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive benefits packageMedical, dental, vision coverage401(k) retirement planPaid time offTuition reimbursementGEA is an equal opportunity employer.
