Role : QA Delivery Program Manager
Location : Sanjose, CA (On-site) on C2C/1099/W2
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Oversee and manage QA activities across multiple projects within the insurance domain.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap aligned with the client’s business objectives.
Ensure that all projects adhere to regulatory requirements specific to the insurance industry.
Quality Assurance Leadership:
Lead a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
Define and implement best practices, processes, and tools for quality assurance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of QA processes.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that QA processes are integrated into the project lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all QA-related issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on the status of QA activities and project health.
Test Management:
Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Ensure that test coverage is comprehensive and aligned with project requirements.
Manage defect tracking, resolution, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that all QA processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to insurance.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with QA activities and project delivery.
Maintain thorough documentation of QA processes, test results, and compliance audits.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
15+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or program management role.
Extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Proven track record of managing QA activities across multiple projects and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications:
PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
ISTQB certification or equivalent in QA is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
