We believe in practicing high-quality, affordable medicine while ensuring our team enjoys a healthy work-life balance.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Eden Veterinary Station located in Eden, NY. The individual in this role will support veterinarians in providing high-quality care to animals through tasks such as assisting in medical procedures, managing anesthetic protocols, providing post-surgical care, and interacting effectively with clients to educate them about their pet’s health. Additional responsibilities include maintaining medical equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of facilities, and monitoring animal behavior and wellbeing.QualificationsExperience and expertise in Animal Care and Pet Care to assist with a variety of animal health needs.Proficiency in Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology to manage procedures and care for animals pre- and post-treatment.Strong Client Education skills to communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and general animal health education.Strong multitasking and organizational abilities with attention to detail in fast-paced environments.Ability to work collaboratively with a veterinary team and demonstrate empathy toward animals and their owners.Licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
