Job Captain - Cities

Your RoleWork with a team of architects in bringing design dreams to life as a Gensler Job Captain. Produce technical documentation and communicate project progress with the lead architect and other team members to ensure our projects exceed client expectations.What You Will DoPartner with Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projectProvide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentationParticipate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during constructionWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesUtilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design conceptsYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program1-3 years of professional experience post-graduationInternship or professional experience working on Government and/or Critical Facilities projectsKnowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniquesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other 3D modeling softwareFor consideration, you must submit a portfolio and your resume in PDF format.**The base salary range will be estimated between $70-$76k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
