About The Role As our Outbound Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the Waldom warehouse's domestic and international shipping teams including implementing company policies and procedures. You will ensure that shipments are dispatched on time and in accordance with company standards. As our Outbound Supervisor you will address shipping issues such as damaged products or delayed deliveries and collaborate with the Operations Manager and the Inbound Supervisor to drive continual improvement within the facility. What You’ll Do Daily Operations Supervision: Manage daily shipping operations by assigning tasks and ensuring completion in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and customer requirements. Delivery Management: Deliver end-of-day shipments to UPS in Maysville, KY, using a company vehicle. Employee Relations: Participate in the hiring process. Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff as necessary. Foster effective employee relations by providing coaching, development, and motivation. Conduct annual written performance reviews. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. ISO Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO standards and regulations within the department. Department Coordination: Work with other departments to guarantee timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory records. Policy Development: Create and implement policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction. Leadership Interaction: Collaborate closely with departmental managers, supervisors, and the executive leadership team. What You’ll Need WILLINGNESS TO WORK CORE HOURS OF 12p-9p High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred OR at least 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role preferred. Knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations, including international shipping. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. ERP experience. Valid Driver’s License with good motor vehicle report history. Must be 26 years or older for insurance purposes. Physical Requirements: Can lift items up to 50 pounds and to alternate sitting, walking and standing up to 8 hours per day. Working Conditions: Comfortable working in a Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks. We’d Love It If You possess strong organizational skills.
