Data Center Technician/ Trainer

Logistics: January Hilliard, OH facility Training Class: 8am-5pm – normal hours Verizon will cover: Airline Hotel Car Rental $100 a day allowance (food etc) - If they are traveling into Ohio, they will be able to travel home every 3 weeks. - Client will pay for the travel Job Description: In this role the trainer communicates, demonstrates, and coaches students on how to install fiber optic internet services on a customer's premises. Knowledge: Understanding of adult learning concepts and facilitation skills. Skills: · Effective verbal communication skills · Delivery of in person or virtual training, · Ability to identify incorrect skill used taught during the class and apply effective coaching techniques · Understanding of computers or tablets (used to access training material and provide completion credit for students. Even better if you know: · Fundamentals of electrical safety related to telecommunications · Knowledge of equipment used in a customer’s home for internet service (Optical Network Terminal, Routers, Modem, Drops, Fiber cable) · Fundamentals handling and installing fiber drops and cable · Troubleshooting equipment used for internet services. Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Remote
