Job OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mold Setter with injection molding experience to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who can work independently while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and change molds on injection molding machinesAdjust machine settings to meet quality standards and optimize cycle timesStart and monitor robotic equipment; make minor program adjustments as neededInspect parts and monitor production to ensure consistent qualityIdentify and report defects or production issues in a timely mannerTroubleshoot equipment issues and assist with preventative maintenanceSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualificationsPrevious manufacturing experience required (injection molding preferred)Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprintsBasic math skills and strong attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
