If you feel the same, then you’ve found your future.We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Bridge Engineer to lead and manage complex bridge projects and support our growing team. This role involves providing technical expertise, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership:Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from initial concept through completionInterface directly with Project Managers to align goals with client expectations and timelinesCollaborate with Task Managers to achieve project milestones and ensure efficient resource allocationTechnical Expertise:Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard softwareConduct field observations and inspections to ensure compliance with safety, design, and quality standardsOversee construction activities to verify adherence to design specificationsEnsure all work complies with local, state, and national building codes and standardsTeam Collaboration and Mentorship:Mentor and guide early-career professionals, fostering technical growth and career developmentReview and approve technical work prepared by staff engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards and timelinesQuality Assurance· Oversee quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet high standards· Monitor project progress, addressing risks and challenges proactivelySkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in civil engineering with a concentration in structural engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferredProven success in leading the technical design of bridge and structural projectsTrack record of mentoring and training early career professionalsExperience with DOT (Department of Transportation) design projectsExperience conducting field observations and inspections of bridges to ensure compliance with safety and design standardsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation and Revit; Microsoft Word and Excel requiredTechnical experience with structural analysis and design software such as RAM Structual System, RISA-3D, Visual Analysis and EnerCalc preferredWhy You’ll Love Working with UsSchedule Flexibility: Customize your work schedule to fit your life.Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health benefits to keep you and your family healthy.Continuous Learning: Access to online courses, conferences, and learning materials to fuel your professional growth.Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to recharge with our generous paid time off policy.Career Advancement: Clear paths for promotions and the opportunity to take on new challenges.Fun Team Culture: Regular team-building activities, happy hours, and company outings.Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
