About the RoleWe're looking for a Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our Class A Properties. This full-time, on-site position runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with an on-call rotation one week per month.If you enjoy restoring spaces, problem-solving, and working with a dynamic team, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your career.???? What You'll DoWork Orders & Property Maintenance (60%)Troubleshoot basic plumbing, light electrical, and light HVAC issuesComplete painting, repairs, and general upkeep to high standardsManage work orders via iPhone app, prioritizing and escalating tasks as neededEnsure compliance with building codes and safety standardsAssist with inventory and maintain an organized workspaceCommunication & Collaboration (15%)Keep residents, vendors, and team members informed on progressCoordinate with property management and vendors to complete work efficientlyContribute to a positive resident experience through clear communicationOn-Call Responsibilities (5%)Respond to emergencies during scheduled after-hours shifts (one week per month)Additional Duties (20%)Address interruptions or unplanned maintenance needs promptlySupport team objectives and uphold Uptown's service standardsWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and clean driving record1+ year of experience in make-ready, property maintenance, or a similar roleComfort with hand tools and moderate-to-heavy physical demands (lift 50–100+ lbs, climb ladders, stand ~90% of the workday)Self-starter with problem-solving skills and a team-player attitude????
