General Neurosurgeon (Physician #)
Position
Neurosurgeon – full‑time, hospital‑based practice in McAllen/Edinburg, Texas.
Employment Type & Schedule
Full‑time. Standard clinical and surgical hours with shared call coverage. Patient volume: busy neurosurgery practice with diverse case mix. Supports a multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, APPs, and other support staff. EMR/Technology: Cerner electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced cranial neurosurgery, including complex brain tumor resections, cerebrovascular procedures, skull base surgery, and spinal cases as a complement to a primarily cranial caseload.
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver optimal outcomes.
Document all patient care efficiently using Cerner EMR.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
Active or eligible Texas medical license.
Experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgery required.
