This is a great environment for someone who likes change, wants visibility, and enjoys helping teams scale the right way.POSITIONThe Human Resources Business Partner will act as a key HR leader supporting site leadership and employees across several clinical research locations. This person will be both strategic and hands-on, helping with employee relations, compliance, performance support, manager coaching, and workforce planning. The role is based onsite in the Greater Los Angeles area and is best suited for someone who is confident handling complex people issues while partnering closely with operational leaders.RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the main HR partner for leaders and employees across multiple sites, providing day-to-day support and guidanceSupport the employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and offboardingAdvise managers on policy interpretation, coaching conversations, conflict resolution, and team developmentLead or support employee relations investigations and help resolve sensitive issues fairly, consistently, and in compliance with employment lawsPartner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational needs, retention efforts, and HR-related process improvementsHelp drive a positive, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture while supporting broader HR projects and change initiativesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a multi-site environmentStrong expertise in California employment law and HR compliance requirementsProven employee relations experience, including investigations and conflict resolutionStrong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organizationExperience in healthcare or clinical research is a plus; PHR or SHRM-CP certification is also preferred
