Diesel Technician Mobile and Shop

Our team is currently looking for a Diesel Technician who is flexible enough to work at our customer's location (use of Service Truck included) OR in the shop, as needed. In this role, technician performs truck and trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Other duties may be assigned.Position may be mobile or in shopTruck and Trailer Repair Experience RequiredService and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakesTroubleshooting and inspectionsGood computer and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work independentlyUse of Service Truck when working mobileMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsPHYSICAL And SAFETY REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.Experience / EducationPrefer Tech School Diesel Program completionAllison Experience or Certificate is a plus!Truck & Trailer repair experience requiredAir brake Experience requiredMust be willing to work outsideCertifications / LicensesValid State Driver's License required, CDL is preferredMust be able to obtain a DOT medcardMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Why should you apply?BenefitsClarke Power is headquartered in Cincinnati and has branches across the country!
