Why should you work for us...Benefits include:Competitive PayHealth Benefits after ONLY 30 days (FREE healthcare options for employee)Paid Time Off (PTO)401k Matching after ONLY 30 daysTuition ReimbursementOngoing Skill Based Pay Increases possible after 90 daysMonthly Bonus OpportunitiesMonthly Catered LuncheonsAdvancement OpportunitiesOn The Job TrainingPaid HolidaysJob Summary:Brake operator sets up and operates power brake to bend, form, and straighten sheet metal and structures shapes to blueprint specification.Job Responsibilities:Selects, positions, and aligns dies in machine ram and bedTurns setscrews or bolts to fasten clamp bar that holds dies in positionLays out or details layout on work stock from blueprintsStarts machine to lower ram or depresses pedal to activate ram that bends metalUse part prints and shop math to figure important measurements for the parts being madeUse radius gauges to inspect parts when neededWillingness to assist in other areas as neededOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications (Required)At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)Job Qualifications (Preferred):Previous manufacturing experienceAbility to use measuring and gauging tools such as micrometer, caliper, and radius gaugesMath and blueprint reading skills sufficient to setup production pressesPhysical Requirements of the Job:Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per dayAble to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environmentFrequent overhead reaching and reaching with both handsFrequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbsAble to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materialsReliable to come to work every day and be on-timeFlexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends6:00am- 2:30pm M-Fr
