Project Manager - Mixed-Use/Multi-Family Construction
Based in Indianapolis, IN, we are a top-rated company providing general contracting, construction management, and real estate development services for commercial, multifamily, historic renovation, and urban redevelopment projects.
We're seeking a Project Manager with mixed-use and multi-family experience to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while helping deliver complex projects that transform communities and urban environments.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction planning through final completion
Develop and maintain project budgets, monitor costs, manage change orders, and support project profitability
Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, scope reviews, and performance management
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, superintendents, and project stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle
Participate in constructability reviews, scheduling, value engineering, permitting, and project planning activities
Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and expectation management
Qualifications:
5+ years of Project Management experience with a general contractor or commercial construction company
Experience managing commercial, multifamily, renovation, or mixed-use construction projects
Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and construction document review
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
Strong communication, negotiation, client management, and problem-solving skills
