Licensed Pipefitter

We are committed to providing exceptional service, which starts with our exceptional employees. Overview: ESI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, fabrication, maintenance and repair of mechanical piping systems. The pipefitter will work with various materials and collaborate with other ESI employees and departments to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the piping systems. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan pipe installation Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes of various materials (steel, copper, PVC, etc.) Install pipe sections, valves, fittings, supports, and flow control components Perform inspections, leak tests, and maintenance on existing piping systems Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed Coordinate work with other trades and contractors Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety regulations Keep accurate records of materials and work performed Requirements Valid MA or RI commercial pipefitter license Proven experience in commercial and industrial pipefitting Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb, and work in varied conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Welding skills or certifications a plus Experience with commercial HVAC or specialty piping systems This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package including bonus opportunities, profit sharing, 401k, vacation, health insurance, and more.
