Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This contract position is for an experienced Special Education Teacher working with early childhood and pre-school students in Philadelphia, PA. The role is itinerant, serving a caseload of approximately 30 special education students across multiple school locations. Training will be provided to support success in this position.Key Responsibilities:Deliver specialized instruction and support to early childhood and pre-school special education studentsManage an itinerant caseload of roughly 30 students, traveling between various school locationsCollaborate with school staff and families to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needsMaintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with program requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in special education, specifically with early childhood or pre-school age groupsAbility to manage multiple locations and maintain an organized scheduleStrong communication and collaboration skills for working with families and school teamsFlexibility and adaptability to serve diverse student needs across settingsSchedule and Location:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PMPosition based in Philadelphia, PA with travel between school sitesThis opportunity offers valuable experience in a dynamic educational environment with ongoing training and professional development.
