Job FamilyFAC - Part-Time Faculty, Credit Classes GradeP1Salary$59.57 - Base RateDepartmentRadiation Therapy (Health Sciences)Reports ToDepartment ChairpersonClosing DatePosted on an ongoing basisFLSA StatusExempt - Not Eligible for Overtime CompensationFirst Review DateJune 19, 2025Position OverviewThe Adjunct Faculty member provides instruction primarily in Radiation Therapy courses and other related areas given appropiate credentials.Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes .What you will be doingTeaches in lecture and laboratory settingsPlan and organizes instructional materials to meet course objectivesEvaluates and advises studentsDevelops curriculaRecruits studentsParticipates in departmental and College affairsServes on committeesPerforms other duties as assigned What you need to succeed Master's degree in any field; Bachelor's degree in any field and Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy; Valid registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field.All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutionsAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal)Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the communityAbility to work flexible schedule which may include morning, evening and weekend assignmentsMust be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites Preferences For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
