Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. - Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. - Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner. - Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance work. - Maintain accurate records of property income and expenses. - Prepare and distribute notices to tenants regarding lease violations, rent increases, or other property-related matters. - Enforce lease agreements and ensure tenants adhere to property rules and regulations. - Market available units and screen potential tenants through background checks and credit evaluations. - Oversee the eviction process, if necessary, in compliance with legal requirements. - Stay updated on local housing laws and regulations. Experience: - Previous experience in property management or a related field is required. - Strong customer relationship management skills. - Knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures. - Proficient in data entry and record keeping. - Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). - Experience working with Section 8/LITCH housing programs is a plus. - Understanding of legal administrative processes related to property management.
