Job TitleThe purpose of this classification is to perform clerical work, perform data entry, and process information and documentation relating to an assigned department/division.Essential functions include providing clerical support for an assigned department/division, performing data entry functions, typing and preparing various forms and reports, maintaining files and records, operating fax machines and mail systems, copying and distributing documentation, conducting research, maintaining manuals and reference materials, monitoring inventory, operating various office equipment, performing basic maintenance, answering telephone calls, providing customer service, and communicating with various individuals.Additional functions may include assisting other employees or departments and performing other related duties as required.Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by five months of previous experience and/or training involving general office work, data entry, and personal computer operations, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Typing 40 wpm. E.O.E.
