Jersey Customization Specialist- Part Time

Position SummaryThe Lehigh Valley Phantoms are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Part-Time Jersey Customization Specialist to support retail operations by producing high-quality customized jerseys for fans and special events. This role is responsible for applying names, numbers, patches, and specialty embellishments to team jerseys while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and premium presentation standards. This individual will play an important role in delivering a memorable fan experience through personalized merchandise.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCustomize fan jerseys using heat press equipment and approved customization methodsApply player names, numbers, captain patches, sponsor patches, and commemorative event patchesInspect garments before and after customization to ensure quality standardsVerify order details for spelling, number placement, and product accuracyMaintain inventory of customization materials and suppliesAssist retail staff with merchandise preparation and floor support as neededKeep customization workspace clean, organized, and safeCommunicate with leadership regarding production timelines and special requestsProvide exceptional service for in-store and online jersey customization ordersQualificationsPrevious retail, apparel decoration, or customization experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsComfortable operating heat press or customization equipment (training provided if needed)Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and game daysPreferred SkillsExperience with sports merchandise or team retail operationsKnowledge of jersey construction and garment handlingPassion for hockey and fan engagementAbility to manage multiple orders while maintaining quality standardsCompensationHourly part-time positionEmployee merchandise discountOpportunity to work in a professional sports environmentWhy Join UsJoining the Lehigh Valley Phantoms means becoming part of an organization dedicated to delivering exceptional fan experiences while representing one of the premier brands in professional hockey.
