Senior Pricing Analyst
Job Description: Strengthening margin governance through disciplined price–cost–margin analysis across tests, services and study typesEnhancing pricing processes by building scalable frameworks, catalogues and documentation that reduce key-person dependencyDriving continuous improvement by identifying margin leakage, outdated pricing and structural inefficienciesShaping best practices in pricing analytics and profitability management across Cerba's global service portfolioOwn and continuously improve price–cost–margin analyses across tests, services and study typesBuild and maintain cost models reflecting laboratory operations, partner labs and service delivery modelsSupport pricing of new deals, renewals and change orders, including deal economics and sensitivity analysesOwn pricing catalogue maintenance across regions, services and delivery models, including inflation recovery and periodic repricingMonitor and analyse discounts, preparing recommendations in line with governance policiesDevelop and maintain pricing and margin KPIs, dashboards and recurring reports for Pricing, Finance and Commercial teamsSupport SAP, O2C and pricing tool implementation, ensuring pricing logic is correctly capturedAct as the institutional memory of pricing, maintaining models, documentation and assumptions over timeRequirements: Proven experience in price–cost–margin analysis and financial modelling in complex, cost-intensive service environmentsAdvanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP or O2C processes advantageousAbility to distil complex analyses into clear takeaways for senior or ELT-level stakeholdersConfident and direct, able to ask tough questions, challenge assumptions and make recommendations under ambiguityBackground in CRO, lab or sample-testing environments is advantageous but not essential; transferable experience from logistics or similar cost-intensive service sectors is welcomeFluent in EnglishBenefits: Global Scope – You'll work across a multi-regional portfolio, engaging with costing and pricing data that spans the US, Europe and beyond, with pricing exposure across tests, services, studies and delivery models.Autonomy & Impact – This is a genuine build role.
