Certified Nursing Assistant

7am - 7pm 7pm - 7am 36 hours per week, 3x12, 1 day includes the weekend Working at Maricopa County Corrections DAY OPENING Supporting Documentation/Additional Qualifications: Copy of current, valid, unrestricted license as a CNA issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing -OR- issued by a participating Compact State. BLS Copy of current, completed First Aid Certification. Minimum one year of past work experience in this position. Service Description: Performs duties within the scope of practice to ensure quality patient care, under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel. Completes required documentation in the electronic health record or other modality. Prepares patients for examination and treatment, takes patient histories, vital signs, and records chief complaints. Performs office procedures, tests, and examinations. Maintains adequate supplies for exam/procedure rooms. Transcribes provider orders and schedules return appointments. Performs venipunctures and lab tests. Assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
