In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing trusted advisor relationships with our customers and identifying opportunities to deliver GuidePoint Security solutions that address their most critical security challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and Lead a Team: Recruit, develop, and manage a team of cybersecurity advisory professionals who will serve as trusted partners to our customersStrategic Customer Partnership: Establish and maintain deep, consultative relationships with customer executives and security leadersOpportunity Development: Identify and uncover opportunities where GuidePoint Security solutions can address customer cybersecurity needs and business objectivesAdvisory Excellence: Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and security program developmentThought Leadership: Represent GuidePoint Security as a subject matter expert in the cybersecurity community through speaking engagements, publications, and industry eventsCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experiencesMarket Intelligence: Stay current on emerging threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements affecting customers in the regionRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in advisory, consulting, or customer-facing leadership rolesProven track record of building and leading successful cybersecurity teamsDeep expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., risk management, compliance, incident response, security architecture)Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical concepts into business valueExcellent communication and presentation skills with C-level executivesEstablished network and reputation in the Boston or New York City cybersecurity communityMust be local to the Boston or New York City metropolitan areaPreferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similarExperience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)Background in professional services or consultingWe use Greenhouse Software as our applicant tracking system and Zoom Scheduler for HR screen request scheduling.
