Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Job Description STEP Therapies, Inc. is an independent rehabilitation practice that specializes in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions. STEP is seeking a full-time physical therapy assistant, PTA. The perfect candidate has an active PTA license in MN, is a quick learner, loves to multi-task, and is friendly/caring and good with people. We currently have one full-time position in Little Canada. Responsibilities:· Directly assist patients with exercises, walking, balance, and functional exercise· Follow treatment plans and techniques as directed by PT· Observe patients, record progress, and report to supervising PT· Document treatment notes, progress, and participating in updating plans of care in a timely manner· Set up, sanitize, and maintain therapy equipment· Clerical duties as available Qualifications:· Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy assistant program with a current and active PTA License in MN· Ability to work well as a team member within a busy therapy setting· Dependable and flexible within weekday regular business hours· Ability to follow instructions accurately· Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills· Experience preferred but not required Job Type: Full Time (not less than 32 hours/week), Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays Starting Pay: Based on experience.
