Financial & Regulatory Oversight: Monitors budgets, contracts, vendor relations, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA); manages procurement, equipment, and supply usage to ensure efficiency and readiness. Patient Care & Service Coordination: Assesses quality of patient care, coordinates services among patients, staff, physicians, and departments, and provides direct care when necessary. Confidentiality & Stakeholder Relations: Maintains sensitive information securely, serves internal staff and external clients/vendors, and fosters a collaborative environment that meets organizational and regulatory standards.
