GM Automotive Technician / Sign-on Bonus

Job Description We're looking for a skilled and motivated GM Automotive Technician to become part of our expanding service team. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair customer vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure every driver leaves with confidence in the work you've done. If you have at least one year of hands-on experience, that's a plus—but we're also ready to invest in training the right individual who brings passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence.We take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience, so we're seeking someone who is not only technically strong but also friendly, professional, and dedicated to doing the job right.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough inspections based on customer concerns and service requestsComplete routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checksDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using both manual and computerized diagnostic toolsRepair or replace components such as brake systems, wheel bearings, spark plugs, fuel systems, and sensorsFollow established checklists to ensure comprehensive evaluation of all vehicle systemsCommunicate clearly with customers & service manager, providing accurate repair estimates and explaining recommended servicesExecute repairs with precision, efficiency, and attention to detailMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and professional serviceQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCompletion of an automotive service technology program is a plusExperience with electronic systems diagnostics and repairStrong problem‐solving skills and mechanical aptitudeCommitment to delivering excellent customer serviceBenefitsOne week of vacation available immediately; two weeks after one yearGuaranteed 35-hour work weekPaid training and ongoing professional developmentSign-on bonus available
