Project Manager - Construction

Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor all work activities related to assigned projects. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with trade superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones. Daily Operations: Handle scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety documentation, quality control, cost controls, resource management, and material procurement. Client Relationship: Cultivate effective relationships with clients and design teams. Safety Coordination: Maintain a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment on project sites. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager on project progress. Pre-Construction: Involved in cost estimation, design evaluation and meetings, document compliance, and permitting. Project Documentation: Read and understand project documents, shop drawing coordination, issue resolution, and document management. Financial Management of Project: Establish and maintain job cost control. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery. To be successful in this role: A two- or four-year degree in construction management with 2 years of construction experience or 8 years of experience in commercial construction. Excellent communication skills are a must. You’ll interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders, so being a great communicator is key. Superior problem-solving abilities. When challenges arise, you are the one who dives in, analyzes, and finds solutions. Strong relationship management skills. You will collaborate with everyone-from the crew on-site to top level management. Be proactive, take ownership of tasks and strong follow through are essential. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge with Sage Timberline is a bonus. A valid driver’s license.
