Software Developer – Android About Us At Vertifi Software, we build software that powers financial institutions across the country. Our products span mobile banking applications, payment processing systems for credit unions, and check imaging solutions, along with a growing portfolio of niche financial products. Our flagship product, was the first remote deposit capture service built for everyday consumers, and today our patented technology processes millions of checks every month captured on mobile phones and tablets. It remains at the core of what we do, but it is just one part of a broader suite of financial software that we design, build, and maintain in house. We are a small, focused team building across multiple platforms: mobile, Windows, and web. You will work on real problems across various products and stacks, ship code that reaches a large user base, and have genuine ownership over what you build. The Role We are looking for an experienced Android developer to join our team. While Android is our immediate priority, this role will span platforms over time, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable and curious, not just a specialist in one area. You will be involved across the full development lifecycle: from gathering requirements through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications, with opportunity to work across iOS and Windows as well Collaborate with a small team across the full development lifecycle Enhance and maintain existing applications across our product suite Contribute to architecture and code quality discussions Requirements 3+ years of professional software development experience Professional Android development experience with shipped consumer-facing apps or SDKs in production Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals Comfortable picking up new languages and platforms as the work demands Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. The ideal candidate will also have Experience with iOS development Familiarity with one or more of our core languages: Swift, Kotlin, or C# Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript) What We Offer Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office per week Competitive salary ($90,000 per year, commensurate with experience) Medical, dental, GL & LTD coverage 401(k) with employer match 11 paid holidays plus sick and vacation days On-site cafeteria and fitness center Pay: From $90,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Burlington, MA 01803
