Location: West Covina, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $18-$22 an hour + bonusAs Parts Counter, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina. You’re responsible for assisting guests primarily through the shop, and even on the phone or online. You’ll provide an exceptional guest experience by pulling and filling orders, organizing inventory, keeping current on new products and product updates and communicating with our internal team, external vendors and guests in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.Your work will ensure guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves Honda experience. This role is a great entry point to Norm Reeves for a car enthusiast who thrives on finding solutions to problems and has some prior experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of parts sales.What You’ll DoInform customers of companion part requirements and specials, ensuring the customer is expose to the full product lineNotify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attentionLocate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency order if necessaryNotify Service Advisor when special order parts are receivedFollow-up on back-ordered partsOn a weekly basis, verify will-call and back-order files as well as vendor returns, and stock items not picked upAssist outside sales representatives with their ordersEnsure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orderMaintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special order partsAssist Parts Manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.What You’ll NeedPrevious parts sales experience and the desire to continuously learn moreFull-time availability.
