School Psychologist

The Addison Northwest School District is seeking a School Psychologist starting August 2026 school year. Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services, the School Psychologist responsibilities include: provide cognitive and achievement testing, behavioral management, consultation services to a variety of staff and may be part of educational support teams, grade level teams and MTSS teams at the school and district level. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, and other duties may be assigned.Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with teachers, administrators, support staff, students and parents.Develop, write and implement effective behavior plans including data collection, analysis and procedures.Assess student skills, behavior challenges and social skills.Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports, records and filesWork confidentially with discretion.Drive a vehicle to conduct work.Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field.Meet schedules and timelines.Provide work direction and guidance to assigned personnel.Interpret and understand state and federal laws and regulations regarding special education.
