Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the coordination and completion of clerical and reception duties for Preventive Medicine andWellness (Adult Fitness, Cardiac Rehab, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Diabetes Self-Management Training). AssistsDirector with telephone support, scheduling and completion of work documents.Greets patients and their families, visitors and other hospital/medical staff in a kind, courteous manner, utilizingthe principles of IDEA. Provides assistance with seminars being held in the building. Keeps lobby and publicareas organized and professional in appearance.Assumes primary responsibility for phone communication activities. Manages multiple phone lines, maintaining apositive, cheerful demeanor.Demonstrates a positive, courteous, caring attitude during all encounters with patients and their familymembers.Responds expeditiously to patient or physician complaints, demonstrating an ability to resolve issuesindependently, with a positive outcome.
