Auto Mechanic

Job Full DescriptionWe are looking for an Auto Mechanic for one of our clients. The mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with both modern diagnostic tools and traditional mechanical systems.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspectionsDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipmentRepair or replace faulty components (brakes, engines, transmissions, steering systems, etc.)Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential safety issuesCommunicate repair needs and cost estimates to customers or service advisorsMaintain detailed records of services performed and parts usedFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspaceStay updated on new automotive technologies and repair techniquesRequired Skills & Qualifications:Strong understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, HVAC)Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipmentProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsManual dexterity and physical staminaAttention to detail and commitment to safetyGood communication and customer-service skillsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an automotive technology program (preferred)Prior experience in an auto repair shop or dealership Kent-Sussex, DE 2778 665 South Carter Road Suite 3 Smyrna, DE 19977
