Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join a state-of-the-art facility with best-in-class design and assembly capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a machine build / assembly environment, solving complex problems, and driving continuous improvement.Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting production, and ensuring new products are successfully launched into production.What You’ll DoAnalyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflow, and efficiencyValidate and maintain BOMs, work instructions, and documentationSupport machine assembly operations and standardize best practices across platformsTroubleshoot production issues and drive root cause solutions (8D, Lean tools)Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA)Support new product introductions (NPI) from prototype through productionDesign and improve fixtures, jigs, and tooling to enhance assemblyTranslate 3D CAD models and drawings into manufacturing processesParticipate in PFMEA / DFMEA reviewsImplement engineering changes and support production readinessPartner with QA, production, and vendors to improve quality and performanceWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related)Experience in machine assembly or custom equipment manufacturingAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsHands-on troubleshooting experience in manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with SolidWorks (or similar CAD) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principlesStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindsetAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesWhy This RoleWork in a modern, well-equipped facilityBe part of a high-performing engineering and manufacturing teamOpportunity to make a direct impact on production efficiency and product qualityHands-on role with strong visibility across operationsAdditional DetailsOccasional domestic travel requiredFast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment
