Packaging Operator

Lost Coast Brewery is hiring packaging associates for our production facility! Ideal candidates will have experience working in industrial environments, be willing to learn, and be willing to go above and beyond. We are looking for employees who enjoy working, take pride in their work, and will be an important part of our company. This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week; generally scheduled full shifts that fall between 5:45 am and 8 pm. Duties include machine operation, inspection, and light maintenance. Operators are expected to be able to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems during operations, and make small adjustments and repairs as appropriate. Other tasks include cleaning of equipment and work area, routine inspection, preparation of operator reports, verification of production, and training and working in other areas of production. You must have: - At minimum a high school diploma or GED (higher education is a plus) - Related work experience in a manufacturing environment (especially in a food-related industry or using PLC-controlled equipment!) - Exceptional mechanical ability - very comfortable working with and on high volume machinery We prefer: - A valid driver’s license - Forklift experience - Brewing industry experience - Open availability __________ The brewery can be a loud, wet environment. Warehouse employees constantly traverse the warehouse, frequently lifting/moving up to 80 lbs. Both positions require use of powered equipment.
