District Wide2026-2027 School YearPlease See Attached Job DescriptionPosition PurposeAn Autism Specialist is a highly trained professional who specializes in understanding and addressing the communication, behavior and social challenges faced by individuals with autism spectrum disorders. The instructional specialist will provide mentoring, training, and collaborative professional development opportunities for staff who are supporting students with specific programming needs. The instructional specialist will empower teachers to utilize effective pedagogy to ensure all students have appropriate access to instructional resources that meet their individual education plan goals and increase learner independence across all educational settings.Starting Salary: Commensurate with experienceBenefits:USD 232 offers an excellent benefits package! If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test.
