Operating across Federal, SLED, and Commercial organizations, our tagline "You Seek, We Deliver" represents our ongoing commitment to excellence.Role DescriptionJob SummaryThe SR Structural Engineer position requires 30+ years of heavy industrial/power plant experience or an accredited bachelor’s & master’s degree in engineering and professional engineering license. Job responsibilitiesProviding structural engineering services and field supportConducting the preparation of designs and calculationsConducting site walk-downs of construction sitesDeveloping cost estimates and material takeoffsProviding schedule and staffing input for projectsProducing and checking structural steel design calculations and drawings. Skillsets and expertise requiredDetailed knowledge of structural steel and concrete design principles and industry methodologiesSignificant structural steel connection design experienceProficiency with structural codes and standardsExtensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and componentsStrong computer skills - proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PROProficiency with OSHA regulationsAble to coordinate and manage multiple large-scale, multi-disciplinary projectsAble to perform structural inspections and provide written reportStrong problem-solving and decision making abilitiesAbility to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
